The "Strangers" Project: What's it all about
The Strangers project was inspired by a fellow hobbyist photographer Danny Santos. I have nothing on that guy obviously - he's Amazing when it comes to people's photography. But its a great idea of capturing people: no make-up, no orchestration. Just people passing by in a street. People you'd otherwise never get a picture of. It's daunting at first but it's an experience like no other. Although it does remind me a bit of going on stage. :) Here you will be able to see the portraits, if downscaled and saved at a slightly lower quality to be internet-friendly. And there will also he ongoing ramble about it right here too. I'll be throwing in a few tips to people who want to try it too at a later stage.
NOTE: These are a few shots from the first trip to the streets. They're dear to my heart because they were terrifying yet they didn't turn out blurry or suddenly burst into flames. However as the project progresses some of these will have to go allow room for the best shots. :) However I'm hoping to develop a scrap-book kind of place where everyone who gets approached could see their portrait but that idea is only in the starting stages so it might be a while till it's actually realised.
